Home Articles Care home’s onesies and cakes raise Children in Need funds
PUDSEY onesies and pyjamas were donned by elderly care home residents to raise funds for Children in Need.
The residents and staff at Pelton Grange Care Home, in Pelton, Chester Le Street, also baked cupcakes, tea loves and a themed chocolate cake for a raffle.
A chocolate fountain and a karaoke also added to the celebratory event and helped generate donations, raising £82 in total.
Les Burnett, home manager of Pelton Grange Care Home, on Front Street, said: “Our residents wanted to do their bit in supporting Children in Need.
“The staff were brilliant coming to work dressed up in Pudsey gear and we hope the money raised helps to make a difference to the lives of needy children.”
