Home Press Releases Care home’s Christmas appeal for cancer patients
A CHRISTMAS appeal for cancer patients has been issued by an Ellesmere Port care home – aiming to create hampers for those in hospital for the festive holiday.
Aaron Court Care Home, on Princes Road, is collecting items for inpatients at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, Birkenhead.
They are appealing for toiletry sets, mindfulness books, fruit tea, chocolate, winter hats and slippers.
The items will be boxed and wrapped before being delivered to those receiving treatment and spending Christmas at the hospital.
Lindsey Quegan, home manager at Aaron Court Care Home, said: “Our aim is to put a smile on the faces of people who are receiving treatment at Clatterbridge during the Christmas period.
“If you are able to donate any of the items needed they will be very gratefully received and will make a huge difference to those who are unable to spend Christmas at home.”
Donations should be dropped off at Aaron Court Care Home, 190 Princes Road, Ellesmere Port, CH65 8EU, before 18th December.
