GREASE came to Runcorn as care home staff donned fancy dress to celebrate National Care Home Open Day.
Carers at Simonsfield Care Home Runcorn, on Boston Avenue, dressed as the classic movie musical girl group to mark the occasion.
Residents enjoyed the spring sunshine in the garden, with 1950s and 60s music and karaoke keeping everyone entertained.
The home was one of dozens of Hill Care Group homes across the North celebrating National Care Home Open Day.
Wendy Waddicor, managing director of the Hill Care Group, said: “All our care homes came up with brilliant, unique and interesting activities for National Care Home Open Day.
“The theme of this year’s event was Linking Communities and we were delighted to welcome so many visitors to our homes, as community is so important to our residents and staff.”
