Home Press Releases Devilishly fun Halloween party for Hartlepool care home
FREDDY Krueger was admitted to a Hartlepool care home on Halloween for a devilishly fun party.
The classic horror movie bad guy was among witches, corpse brides and ghosts haunting Queens Meadow Care Home, on Stockton Road.
The elderly residents, staff and their children all got into the Halloween spirit by dressing up, decorating the home and enjoying the fright night fun.
Bobbing for apples and lollipops in a bowl of eyeballs was one of the games enjoyed by all.
Resident Peggy Neagle said: “I loved the party. The staff are nutters, in the best way.”
Julie Armstrong, home manager of Queens Meadow Care Home, said: “It was great to see the residents interacting with the off duty staff members and their families.”
