Home Press Releases H’Angus the Monkey surprises pupils during care home visit
SCHOOL pupils were surprised by a giant monkey during their visit to a care home in Hartlepool.
H’Angus the Money dropped into Queens Meadow Care Home, on Stockton Road, to surprise the children and residents.
The Hartlepool United mascot was greeted with hugs from the pupils of St Cuthbert’s RC Primary School, on Stratford Road.
The nursery and reception pupils, all aged between 4 and 6, were visiting the home to sing nursery rhymes and chat with the residents.
Debbie Wilkes, activities coordinator at Queens Meadow Care Home, said: “The residents had a wonderful time today. It’s been all go.
“They love it when H’Angus visits and it was even more special today as we had the children from St Cuthbert’s Primary School here as well.”
