Happy Halloween party for Chesterfield care home

A DEVILISHLY good Halloween party was held at a Chesterfield care home.

Witches, ghosts and tiny terrors took over Barnfield Care Home Chesterfield for the annual event. Elderly residents, staff and their families dressed as their favourite nightmarish creatures, decorated the home and enjoyed a Happy Halloween cake and buns.

Singer and dancer Amy, from Chesterfield based Bluebird Entertainment, performed in costume for the party.

Alison Riley, home manager at Barnfield Care Home, on Barnfield Close, said: “Everyone had a great time at this year’s Halloween Party.

“It was great to have several staff members’ children along, who interacted with the residents between numbers from entertainer Amy.

“We’d also like to thank the kitchen team for putting on a fantastic buffet and creating the Halloween cake and buns.”
