MRS BROWN made a double appearance at a Cheshire care home as part of St Patrick’s Day celebrations.
Two staff members at Halton View Care Home, in Widnes, dressed as the popular comedy character, played by Brendan O’Carroll in Mrs Brown’s Boys.
Leprechaun costumes and Guinness hats and t-shirts were also worn by staff, with residents and visitors voting for the best dressed on the day.
The residents also made decorations for the home, enjoyed an Irish stew and music from The Emerald Isle.
Chelsea Willett, home manager at Halton View Care Home, on Sadler Street, said: “St Patrick’s Day has become an international celebration and we wanted to celebrate with our residents.
“The staff got into the spirit by dressing for the occasion, with two of our unit managers donning Mrs Brown’s Boys costumes and winning the vote for the best dressed.
“Everyone had a great time singing along and dancing to the Irish music after a delicious stew and other Irish food. We’re all looking forward to next year.”
