Home Press Releases Nottingham’s young and elderly team up for Easter egg hunt
A CRACKING time was had by Nottingham care home residents and nursery children when they teamed up for an Easter egg hunt.
Hopping around Longmoor Lodge Care Home in their bunny masks, the children sought out the tasty chocolate treats, with the help of home’s residents.
The children visit the home, on Longmoor Lane, Sandiacre, regularly to take part in activities such as baking and painting.
Samantha Ely, home manager for Longmoor Lodge Care Home, said: “The children of Brookhill House Day Nursery are always welcome and they usually visit our residents once a month.
“It was lovely to see them all dressed up in their bunny masks, hunting for eggs with their Easter baskets.
“Our residents got into the Easter spirit as well, donning their bonnets and bunny ears to help the children on their hunt. Everyone had great fun and really enjoyed themselves.”
