Home Press Releases Reptiles pay Bolton care home residents a visit
SNAKES, lizards and snails were among the recent visitors to a Bolton care home.
The cold-blooded creatures were brought to Lever Edge Care Home, on Lever Edge Lane, Great Lever, by animal handling company ZooLab.
The animal therapy session saw residents holding and stroking the animals, which also included a white rat.
Karen McMahon, home manager at Lever Edge Care Home, said: “The residents thoroughly enjoyed the session with ZooLab.
“They brought lots of different creatures for them to see and stroke.
“Residents and their family members were very interested in touching the creatures, with the bravest offering to hold the snake.”
