Home Press Releases Huddersfield Town signed football auctioned for elderly
A HUDDERSFIELD Town signed football is being auctioned to raise funds for elderly care home residents.
Aden Court Care Home in Huddersfield is taking bids in a silent auction for the ball, autographed by the first team, following their first season in the Premier League.
Bidding will close at 5pm on Thursday, 19th July, with a winner announced at the care home’s summer fayre at 3pm on Saturday, 21st July.
The ball was donated to the home as part of The Terriers’ On The Move Lottery, which helps fund the team’s Academy.
Alongside the auction, the fayre will also have a variety of stalls, a bouncy castle, face painting and more.
Lisa Boyd, home manager at Aden Court Care Home, on Birkhouse Lane, said: “We’re taking bids from anyone interested in winning the Huddersfield Town signed football.
“Everyone is also welcome to attend our summer fayre, which will have loads for adults and children to do.
“All money raised will go into our residents’ fund, which helps pay for day trips and activities for those living at the home.”
Anyone interested in bidding on the Huddersfield Town signed football should call Marie Wells at Aden Court Care Home on 01484 425562.
